Out of School Experience
Out of school experience is an important aspect of the learning process and enriches social interaction and overall personality development of the child. In this regard, it is planned that the relatively older children in the Purple Grapes Class and White Rose Class will visit the Accra Zoo in the third week of November 2014. The visit will enable the children to see some live size animals that they do learn about in class. It will also help them to know and understand what a zoo is about.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Simple and practical co – curricular activities are built into the Daily and Weekly Schedules of the various classes. This is designed to broaden and enrich the training content and ultimately help to develop the overall personality of the child.

Outdoor Activity
The teachers make each subject virtually practical with an outdoor activity element. In this regard, the Teachers take the children out to the school compound and help them to relate the topic being treated to real and tangible examples in the environment. This helps to simplify and explain concepts and ideas better and enable the children to understand the ideas in practical terms.
Visual Arts
As part of daily activity schedule, the children thus engage in singing, dancing, reciting rhymes and poems, and creativity activities such as painting, coloring and others to develop their “creativity” skills.

Performing Arts
The School Children of the Daylight International School will organize a Christmas Play on Thursday, 18th December 2014. This is part of the School’s activities to celebrate Christmas and also mark the end of the First Term of the 2014 / Academic Year.
The School will also have an Open House on the same day.
Parents, Guardians and Well Wishers of the School are kindly invited to come to the School to enjoy the Christmas Play of the Children.
